Education

FEATURES OF OUR PROGRAM

We use the Federal State Educational Standards (FSES), expanding and deepening knowledge and understanding by applying evidence-based education principles and practices of international programs (International Baccalaureate, Cambridge CILA).

  • Bilingual Program
In the lower school, we study in English for 2 out of 5 days. In the middle school, all subjects, except for Russian language and literature, gradually begin to be taught in English, with the goal of teaching exclusively in English by grades 11-12. English as a separate subject starts from grade 0, with 4 English lessons per week, which is more than in traditional schools.
  • Mathematics
In the lower grades, we use the Soprunova and Peterson programs. In the middle school, we rely on textbooks designed for advanced mathematics study, while still focusing on the students’ level and working within their zone of proximal development. The number of math lessons is increased compared to the traditional curriculum.
  • Approaches To Learning
In our lessons, we not only provide subject knowledge but also develop the ability to learn. This skill set includes critical thinking, communication, research, self-regulation, and reflection.
  • Support and Individual Approach
Our entire team collaborates and discusses how to make a child’s learning effective. With small class sizes—up to 16 students—we can quickly identify both successes and gaps, allowing us to tailor effective teaching strategies for each student.
  • Natural Sciences
Physics, chemistry, and biology lessons in our school are taught by teachers with scientific and research experience, ensuring that students' questions about the world, medicine, and real science do not leave instructors stumped.
  • Russian Language and Literature
In the lower grades, we use the Granik programs, while in the middle school, teachers use a proprietary program that aligns with the Federal State Educational Standards (FSES) but also incorporates creative writing and logic.
  • Grades and Homework
We do not have grades in grades 1-2, and we aim to minimize the number of grades in the lower school, preferring detailed feedback instead. Students complete their homework with mentors during the after-school program.
  • Armenian Language
In our school, Armenian is a mandatory subject. Students learn the language through play-based methods, using resources designed for Armenian as a foreign language.
  • Social Sciences
Our social sciences course includes history, philosophy, economics, fundamentals of law, sociology, and part of the course is dedicated to global politics.
  • Electives
A wide variety of activities for all ages and interests. Classes start at 3:00 PM.
  • A full-day school.
